Tournaments

The Tournaments are a series of competitions in which the factions of the Star Wars universe are represented through faction tokens. Each Tournament comprises three rounds, during which the tokens are randomly paired against one another. The frequency of Tournaments varies, with an approximate range of 30 to 110 hours. The Tournament commences with the pairing of eight tokens, with four tokens being eliminated in the first round, two tokens in the second round, and one token in the final round. The winning tokens of each round will acquire the liquidity of the defeated token and progress to the subsequent round.

The duration of each round is randomly determined, with a range of 10 to 30 hours, through the utilization of a random number generator, specifically the Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF). This ensures a level of randomness and unpredictability in the tournament. Additionally, the outcome of each round is determined by the token with the highest price at the end of each round. The probability of a round ending is determined by the formula: p(e) = 1 - ÎŖ(n = 0, e) ( (120 - e) / 120 ), where e represents the epoch, t represents minutes, and p represents the probability. As epoch (e) increases, the probability of the round ending also increases, which ensures that the tournament remains interesting and unpredictable.

It is important to note that the round can end after 10 hours, as the random number generator used allows for the possibility of an early conclusion. Furthermore, holders of the victorious token in the final round will be entitled to claim rewards, which will be distributed among all holders. Please note that during the claim process, tokens will be burned.
