How to buy/sell tokens?
Upon accessing the platform, users are presented with the option to participate in the token swap feature, as presented below:
This feature allows for the acquisition of tokens that are currently in various stages of the tournament.
As the tournament progresses, the available tokens for purchase will be limited to those that have emerged victorious in preceding rounds, until a single token remains as the ultimate champion. It is worth noting that users have the opportunity to engage in token transactions, both buying and selling, throughout the duration of the tournament, with the exception of a brief interlude between rounds where the determination of the victorious token is taking place.
When swapping $MAI for our ERC-20 tokens on Awakeness, the following things happen:
The user connects their wallet to Awakeness and deposits $MAI into the wallet.
The user selects the ERC-20 token they want to trade for and enters the desired amount.
Our platform uses a mathematical formula (constant product formula) to determine the new prices of $MAI and the ERC-20 token based on the current supply and demand.
The trade is executed automatically by our smart contract.
The ERC-20 token is transferred to the user's wallet, and the corresponding amount of $MAI is removed from the user's wallet.
When swapping back ERC-20 tokens for $MAI the steps are the same.
